Alternatively, taking a jog can also be as effective as its intensity also triggers the release of endorphins which bring about a happy mood and euphoria. With this having been proven, doctors usually recommend patients of mental conditions such as depression to engage in regular workouts as it help in alleviating depressive symptoms in the long run.

Improvement of self confidence; at a basic level, self esteem and improvement of a positive self image can be improved by physical fitness. Irrespective of size, weight, age or gender, a regular workout can quickly boost up the perception of a person on his or her attractiveness.

One can go ahead to incorporate working out in the lifestyle by making it more fun whereby one merges it with their hobby and even take it outdoors. In other words, activities such as canoeing, hiking, jogging and rock climbing can also be fun ways of exercising. This makes it easier to adapt to these healthy lifestyle and in addition one prevents depressive conditions.

Old might be glorified as gold, but the reality is aging can be very depressing as it comes with various changes that deprives one from performing to their maximum ability.
